Bengaluru, May 14: In a recent case of molestation, an unidentified man allegedly molested a 21-year-old girl on the pretext of asking for directions in Yelahanka New Town. According to an Indian Express report, the incident took place on May 9, but the accused is still missing. The victim ran for a while to escape from the accused, who was chasing her on a bike.
According to the report, the girl had parked her two-wheeler and was entering the park, when a bike-borne man approached her posing to ask directions. However, she did not respond, instead of leaving her alone, the biker pulled her t-shirt and followed her. On the following day, she approached the Yelahanka New Town police to file a case.
Reportedly, there were no CCTV cameras at the site, and the accused was also wearing a helmet. He was furious because she didn't respond to him since he was attempting to talk to her. Taking full advantage of the dim-street lights, he tried to molest her.
