Bank Jobs! SBI to Recruit 119 Candidates for Specialist Cadre Officer Posts, Apply at sbi.co.in/careers

The State Bank of India (SBI) is inviting applicants for the position of Specialist Officers in Law and Management. The SBI recruitment notification is available on the official website sbi.co.in/careers. The application procedure has begun and the last date for online registration is April 7, 2018. The candidates interested in applying for Deputy Manager (DM) and Specialist Management Executive (SME) can start filling the application form. All details including eligibility, vacancy details and selection criteria are provided on the website of SBI. A total of 119 posts are available.
The notification reads, “Except Professional Knowledge (PK) paper, other papers will be qualifying in nature. Candidates have to score minimum qualifying marks in these papers. The minimum qualifying marks will be as decided (or may be waived) at the discretion of Bank. The questions will be bilingual i.e. in Hindi & English (except for test of English Language). The candidates will have option to give their answer in Hindi or English (except for test of English Language).” Here is how to fill in the application form for SBI Recruitment Specialist Officers in Law and Management:
1. Visit the official website, sbi.co.in/careers.
2. Look for the link, under the recent announcement section.
3. Before you begin with the procedure, it is recommended to go through the notification carefully which is available on the website in a PDF format.
4. Upload the scanned copy of all the required documents and your photograph.
5. Pay the application fee to finish the application procedure; for General and OBC candidates the amount is Rs. 600 and for other reserved categories it is Rs. 100.
For the post of Deputy Manager (Law), aspirants will have to appear in a written test along with an interview. The test will consist of 220 marks and will comprise of questions from reasoning and English language. Again, there will be 50 questions to test the professional knowledge of the candidate. There will not be any written test for other posts. The exam date has not yet been declared, however reports suggest May 6 as a tentative date for the examination.
