Ban Porn, Stop Child Rape, Says Madhya Pradesh Home Minister, Bhupendra Singh

Madhya Pradesh, April 24: Looking at the rise in atrocities against minor, Madhya Home Minister Bhupendra Singh has offered a quick fix solution- BAN PORN! Yes, he has written a letter to the Centre demanding a ban on the pornographic websites. According to ANI, Singh has been quoted as saying, "We think the reason for rising number of child rape and molestation cases is porn. We are contemplating banning porn in Madhya Pradesh, will approach Centre in the matter."
Reportedly, the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh has blocked 25 porn sites but Singh feels that’s not enough and pornography should be banned altogether. As per reports, Singh has been quoted as saying, "The Home Department has conducted a survey that has found porn websites as a major reason behind these offences. The regime had earlier closed down 25 porn sites but it has no direct control over it. I have urged the Centre to ban them and enact a tough legislation in this regard."
