Baba Ramdev to Have His Wax Statue at Madame Tussauds London, Yoga Guru Will Strike a Vrikshasan Pose

According to him, his statue at the museum will motivate people across the globe to adopt a Yogic lifestyle.

New Delhi, June 26: The latest addition to the prestigious Madame Tussauds family will be Baba Ramdev. The yoga guru will soon have a wax statue there. He shared the news as well as pictures of people taking measurements. He even tweeted a photo of photos of the session including one of himself striking a yoga pose of vrikshasan (standing on one leg) which is how he will be depicted in the museum.

According to him, his statue at the museum will motivate people across the globe to adopt a Yogic lifestyle. This is for the first time that a statue of a yogi will be installed at the museum. His statue will be put up first at the London museum and after that taken to the Delhi museum of Madame Tussauds.

The yoga guru’s spokesperson SK Tijarawala said, "The impression (measurement) session took place at Madame Tussauds on Monday, and it went on for around three hours. A dedicated team of 20 experts took impressions, measurements and matching of eyes, ears, skull & posture by colour and size and recorded details for making the wax statue.”
