Baba Ramdev Slams Government For Not Addressing Issue of Unemployment; Criticises Attack On Swami Agnivesh
Yoga Guru, Baba Ramdev today slammed both the Centre and state government for not being able to solve the problem of unemployment in the country.
Bhopal, July 19: Yoga Guru, Baba Ramdev today slammed both the Centre and state governments for not being able to solve the problem of unemployment in the country. Ramdev while speaking to media in Bhopal said, “Unemployment, poverty and hunger are a blot on the forehead of Bharat Mata. We are determined to remove it.” Ramdev also claimed that his Patanjali group had provided jobs to 11,000 people in its sales department in the last one month and would employ another similar number in the next five to six months.
Ramdev’s company Patanjali is also looking to expand business in foreign countries. According to a report published in IndiaTimes, French luxury group LVMH Moet Hennessy - Louis Vuitton, is willing to invest 500 million USD (Rs 3250 crore) in Patanjali Ayurveda. Patanjali is even planning to enter into the Khadi and frozen vegetable market with an investment of Rs 10,000 crore.
While interacting with the media, the yoga guru also criticised the assault on social activist Swami Agnivesh. He termed it as a disgrace to democracy. Ramdev also said that everyone had the right to their views. Agnivesh was attacked in Jharkhand's Pakur town by a mob as he came out after addressing a press conference on July 17. Agnivesh alleged that the BJP-affiliated youth groups of attacking him.
