New Delhi, August 17: Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee passed away on Thursday at the age of 93 years. His condition deteriorated on Wednesday and he was put on life support at AIIMS. Vajpayee was admitted on June 11 to the hospital for a routine check-up. Ever since the news of his deteriorating health was announced in the AIIMS bulletin, leaders across party lines were paying a visit to the leader. Even after his demise politicians across the country flew to New Delhi to pay homage to the late former PM.
The governments of Pakistan and Bangladesh have paid their homage to Vajpayee.
