New Delhi, July 12: In the recent development to the Rabia Public School case, where 16 school children were allegedly locked up inside the basement for not paying their fees, Delhi CM Kejriwal has reprimanded the principal Naheed Usmani.
According to a latest video footage from ANI, Kejriwal while talking to Usmani said, "This is not the way, you treat kids even if they are not paying their fees. The main focus of our government is to provide education. Both Delhi government and Police will take action. This kind of of a thing will not be tolerated in future." On Wednesday, Kejriwal had sought a report on the matter.

The parents of the students alleged the kids were locked up from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm in the middle of the immense heat, they were not given any food and water. They were continually crying because they were hungry and thirsty, and the teachers didn't bother.
The inhumane treatment meted out by the school authorities was found out after the parents went to pick up their children. A case has been registered against the school authorities. Police have registered a case under section 75 of the Juvenile Justice Act, and they are investigating the matter.
