Army Soldier Injured in Pakistan Firing in Poonch Succumbs to Injuries

Gunner Kishore Kumar Munna belonged to Village Barmaha in Bihar and is survived by his mother. A ceremonial farewell with full military honours will be held at Nagrota on February, Monday.

Udhampur, February 12: Army soldier, who was injured in cross-border shelling by Pakistan in Poonch sector on February 4, succumbed to injuries in Udhampur's Command Military Hospital on Sunday, 11 February.

Gunner Kishore Kumar Munna belonged to Village Barmaha in Bihar and is survived by his mother.

A ceremonial farewell with full military honours will be held at Nagrota on February 12 morning following which the mortal remains of the brave heart will be moved by aircraft to Patna and thereafter to his home town by road on February 13. "Gunner Kishore Kumar Munna was a brave and sincere soldier. The nation will always remain indebted to him for the supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty," said the Army spokesperson.
