Srinagar, July 3: More than 15 pilgrims on Amarnath Yatra were administered with oxygen after they started feeling breathless. They were helped by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel en-route on Baltal Axis.
In other news, the train services on the Banihal-Qazigund rail section in Kashmir Valley will remain suspended from today for some duration daily till the completion of the annual Amarnath yatra, confirmed the railway officials. According to a PTI report, National Conference president Farooq Abdullah on Tuesday visited Baltal, the base camp for Amarnath Yatra, and Panjtarni and took stock of arrangements made for the annual pilgrimage to the cave shrine in south Kashmir Himalayas. He was briefed about the facilities set up for the smooth conduct of the pilgrimage at various points along the track and also at the base camps in Pahalgam and Baltal.

The 46-day Amarnath yatra, which began on Monday, will conclude on August 15, coinciding with Raksha Bandhan.
