Bihar, August 1: After the horrific Muzaffarpur Shelter home rape case, here comes another shocking case of sexual assault faced by minor boys at a government observation home in Arrah. According to a News 18 report, at least six minor boys were allegedly sodomised by other inmates. The matter came to light, when relatives of two minors went to the observation home, meet their children. The boys narrated to their relatives how they were forced to have unnatural sex in the bathroom of the shelter premises.
The family members of the boys are agitated, and they have blamed the staff for brushing off such an important issue under the carpet, and not taking any action.
Talking about the Muzaffarpur shelter home rape, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had ordered a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the case, where several girls were allegedly sexually exploited. Kumar asked the state's Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary and the Director General of the Police to hand over the probe of the case to the CBI. Almost 11 employees of the shelter home have been arrested concerning the case. Police raided the premises of the shelter home and rescued 44 girls. Bihar DGP KS Dwivedi confirmed that the medical reports of twenty-nine out of forty-two girls indicate that sexual contact was established with them.
