Abu Salem's 45-Day Parole Application For His Marriage Gets Rejected by Bombay High Court

Salem is currently serving a life sentence after being convicted for his involvement in the 1993 Bombay Blast.

Mumbai, August 7: Bombay High Court rejected 1993 serial blasts convict Abu Salem's plea seeking parole of 45 days to get married. He wanted the parole to get married to Mumbra resident Kausar Bahar. He had applied for parole twice earlier as well, which got rejected . According to a Times of India report, Salem had earlier claimed to have married Kausar over the phone during a train journey in 2014, when he was taken to Lucknow for a court hearing. Kausar filed an application before the local court threatened to kill herself if she was not granted permission to marry Salem.

On April this year,  Navi Mumbai Commissioner rejected Salem's parole application, which he applied for his marriage. Recently Salem was in the news for sending a legal notice to makers of 'Sanju' movie. He had alleged defamation to filmmakers Raju Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, and others involved in the film.

Salem is currently serving a life sentence after being convicted for his involvement in the 1993 Bombay Blast.
