Aadhaar And PAN Card Made Interchangeable by FM Nirmala Sitharaman in Budget 2019

New Delhi, July 5:  Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced in Union Budget 2019 that Aadhaar and PAN card will now become interchangeable in filing IT Returns. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday said new Series of Coin - Re 1, Rs 2, 5, 10 and 20 will be made available for public use. These coins will be designed in a manner that they can be used by the visually impaired.

Some of the other sops rolled out by FM till now are- Pradhan Mantri Karmi Yogi Maan Dhan scheme. Under the programme, the Centre will roll-out a pension scheme for retailers and traders with an annual turnover of less than Rs 1.5 crore. The total number of beneficiaries is estimated to be around 3 crore. Also in order to improve the quality of education in India, FM introduced a new policy, 'Study in India', to draw more foreign students to the nation for educational purpose.
