8-Month-Old Boy Kidnapped From Kalyan Railway Station, Police Probes Using CCTV Footage
A complaint has been filed by Radha and her husband and based on this, the Kalyan GRP has registered a case against an unidentified person for kidnapping child and started a search for them.
Mumbai, August 15: A shocking incident took place when an eight-month-old boy was kidnapped from his mother by an unidentified man at Kalyan Railway station, according to a Times of India report. The incident took place when Radha Bhoir, along with her three children were going to catch a Chennai train. Reportedly, a CCTV footage of the incident has been released, which showed that the accused offered to help the woman, by helping her to carry the infant, as she already had kids. However, after walking for some time with her, the man fled with the baby.
A complaint has been filed by Radha and her husband and based on this, the Kalyan GRP has registered a case against an unidentified person for kidnapping child and started a search for them. There have been several similar incidents of kidnapping that have taken in the city over the last few months.
Five persons including a woman were arrested by the city crime branch for allegedly kidnapping a boy from Kurla. The woman was a close relative of the kidnapped boy and hatched the plan as she was facing a financial crisis. The police, in the end, managed to rescue the minor safely.
