West Bengal, October 24: In a horrific incident coming from West Bengal, a 100-year-old woman was brutally raped by a 20-year-old youth in the middle of the night. According to an IANS report, the accused was caught by the family members of the old woman, and a complaint was filed on Tuesday. The culprit has been arrested and presented before the court. The old woman has been released from the hospital after the required medical tests. A similar incident was reported recently, when a woman was raped by inserting irons rods inside her private parts in Jalpaiguri. The tribal woman was allegedly raped by her relative, and an iron rod was inserted in her private parts at Jalpaiguri in West Bengal. According to a PTI report, the nephew of the woman's husband and another individual is detained for their alleged involvement in the case.

In July, the 99-year-old landlord was arrested for raping a minor girl in Chennai. The accused was a retired school principal, and was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl.
