A lot has been getting speculated since International singing sensation Zayn Malik has announced his debut in Bollywood music world. Since he has announced of trying his hands on the much- loved genre- Sufi music, excitement has been pouring out from the fans’ hearts. Now, just to give a glimpse of his prep for the big leap that he is taking in the tinsel town, he shared his version of ‘Teri Deewani’ song, composed and sung by Kailash Kher. Needless to say, his Indian fans are crying buckets of happy tears! His version of Teri Deewani is a slight different from the original one but as it ends, it will make you curious to know what more modifications the former One Directioner must have done in the song.
As he strums the guitar and starts with the initial notes, you might find him going a bit off- track. After all, we are so accustomed to the original powerful voice of Kailash Kher! It takes a little long to get used to Zayn’s version, especially when your childhood has been all of Kher’s version. However, the ‘Teri Deewani’ part wins you with an entirely different scale. The notations taste sweeter after an occasional scale change, (if done, rightly) isn’t it?

Meanwhile, Zayn has already sung a Bollywood song for a film and is coming up with his own Hindi album, out of which a song will be composed by A R Rahman. Talking about his Indian venture, Malik told a fashion magazine, “"It’s one of the first songs I’ve sung in full Hindi, so it’s going to be cool to see what the response to that is. There’s definitely a lot of Urdu; some nice qawwali sounds. There might even be some bhangra vibes. I have worked with AR Rahman on one song.”
