The holiday has now become a coveted spot for producers and actors who want to make the most of it by releasing their films on the day, so as to enjoy a better opening at the box office. This year, already two big films, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's War and Chiranjeevi's multi-starrer period drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy were set to clash with an October 2 release. This is certainly going to be a deadly clash considering all three films are huge in their own right. Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's action drama, War received some amazing responses for its trailer. Also, Tiger Shroff with his Baaghi franchise has emerged as an action star and with him competing with Hrithik in the film, audiences are certainly looking forward to it.

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a magnum opus that is releasing in not only Telugu but also Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil. The boasts of a strong cast consisting of big names such as Chiranjeevi, Vijay Sethupathi, Sudeep, Nayanthara, Jagapati Babu, Tamannaah, and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. The film is based on the unsung heroes, who fought against the British, much before India’s first war of Independence of 1857. As for the Hollywood release, Joaquin Phoenix starrer Joker premiered at the 76th Venice International Film Festival in August and won critics over.
