Vidya Balan To Collaborate With Anurag Basu For His Next Film, Ludo Starring Rajkummar Rao, Aditya Roy Kapur

It's always a delight to see Vidya Balan on the screen. She is undoubtedly one of the few actresses who knows how to light it up with her presence. So, we are always looking out for any scoop relating to her movie projects. Word has it that Vidya is all set to feature in a film which will star Rajkummar Rao, her brother-in-law, Aditya Roy Kapur, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra and Abhishek Bachchan. However, she is going to have a cameo in this movie, which will be directed by Anurag Basu. Made on the lines of Anurag's previous film, Life In A... Metro (2007), this one too will have different short stories.

The title of the film is going to be Ludo and it will be produced by Bhushan Kumar under T-Series, reports Pinkvilla. "Vidya Balan will have a special role in the drama. It's more like a cameo. But it's not yet known what she will be playing or whose story she might be a part of. Apart from these, the makers also wanted an actor be the narrator for all the stories and then their unison. So it can be that, too but the makers are currently tight-lipped about everything," reveals a source to the entertainment portal. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Is Happening! The same source further adds,"Vidya and Anurag go back a long way. They have known each other for years and when Dada (Anurag) called Vidya for the role, she immediately gave her nod. She didn't even bat an eyelid before saying yes to him. They plan to shoot her portions in the coming few days." That's interesting, isn't it?

Apart from this, Vidya will also star in Mission Mangal and the Shakuntala Devi biopic.
