Whether you are on the side of the lovers or on the Bajrangi Dal (who just can't get love), there is no denying that Valentine's Day is here to stay. After all, in this time of infighting and hatred, we need more love as much as we can, don't we? And when it comes to love, how can we not talk about Bollywood? After all, this is one of the movie industries in  the world that must have made maximum number of romantic movies.

If we have to quote classics, we have movies like Ek Duje Ke Liye, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, et al. Last year, we had some really interesting romantic movies like Bareilly Ki Barfi, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Jab Harry Met Sejal and others. 2018 is no different as well.

Without further ado, let's look at 7 upcoming movies of 2018 we are sure will give different shades to the beautiful feeling called love.

October

Cast: Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu; Director: Shoojit Sircar

Varun Dhawan is known for his masala movies like Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Judwaa 2. But he takes quite a U-turn with October, what is perceived to be a love story that crosses different realms. But we don't expect any unusual fare from Piku director Shoojit Sircar, do we? The makers are closely guarding the plot of the movie, with even the recently released teaser not revealing much.  Doublemint girl Banita is making her big screen debut here.

Scheduled release date:  April 13

Dhadak

Cast: Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter; Director: Shashank Khaitan

The official remake of Sairat, the movie is the Bollywood launchpad of two stars kids in Ishaan and Janhvi. While Ishaan has been getting high praise for his performance in his international debut, Beyond The Clouds, we have to see if Janhvi has inherited her mom Sridevi's genes.

Scheduled release date:  July 20

Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar

Cast: Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra; Director: Dibakar Banerjee

If Dibakar is handling a romcom, trust it to be something unusual and different from other movies of this genre. Plus, it brings back the Ishaqzaade jodi of Arjun and Parineeti.

Scheduled release date:  August 3

LoveRatri

Cast: Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain; Director: Abhiraj Minawala

Nepotism accusations aside (but then that allegation applies to nearly every movie in this list), it would be interesting to see if Aayush Sharma can better the other members in Salman Khan's family, when it comes to histrionics.

Scheduled release date:  September 21

Sui Dhaaga: Made in India

Cast: Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma; Director: Sharat Katariya

Though it is set against the backdrop of PM's Make in India initiative, Sui Dhaaga is ultimately a Yash Raj movie so we expect dollops of romance here. The fresh pairing of Anushka -Varun, as well as their rural looks, have already caught our attention.

Scheduled release date:  September 28

Zero

Cast: Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma; Director: Aanand L Rai

How can we not mention a movie starring the King of Romance himself in a list about romantic movies? However, unlike his previous movie, Zero is quite different in its treatment. SRK plays a vertically challenged man who falls for an actress, played by Katrina Kaif. There are plenty of celeb cameos here, including one from Salman Khan.

Scheduled release date:  December 21

Kedarnath

Cast: Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan; Director: Abhishek Kapoor

Kai Po Che fame Sushant Singh Rajput is helming this tragic love story, set against the backdrop of the Uttarakhand flood disaster. The movie was in news for being the launchpad of Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara. However, the release of the movie this year is a big question after the director had a fall out with the producers.

Scheduled release date:  December 21
