In yesterday’s episode of Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Key, we saw The Maheshwaris are astounded by Meenakshi's gesture. Later, Vishambar makes a decision about Kuhu's nuptial life while Abir plans to tell the truth to Mishti. Today’s episode starts with Kuhu and Kunal spending some quality time alone with each other, Kuhu says she is happy as her dream has come true of marrying him. On the other side, Abir (Shaheer Sheikh) takes Mishti (Rhea Sharma) to his room to show the painting, Mishti tells that she does not want to see. Abir says he wants to show the paintings as he is sure about these feelings now. Meanwhile, Kuhu asks Kunal why is he talking in this way. Kunal tells Kuhu that his mother loves him that is why she agreed for this alliance but she loves Abir more and she will never accept Mishti. Kuhu is stunned to know, as she was unaware about this. Kunal shows Kuhu the video clip in which Abir and Mishti are in each other's arm in Sweta’s party. Kunal tells Kuhu that Mishti is not right for Abir and because of them Meenakshi might object for their alliance. Meanwhile when Abir is going to tell the name of the person he loves, Mishti feels shy and runs from there and comes down (dheere dheere sey mere zindagii mey aana track plays in the background). Mishti realizes that she too has feelings for Abir and that she loves him. Dadaji comes and thanks Mishti as because of her this alliance could happen and give blessings to her that she will also get a good partner soon.

Later, in Maheshwari household, Kuhu thinks about what Kunal had told him regarding Mishti and Abir. Just then Jasmeet comes and tells Kuhu that she should keep Mishti away from her life as the Rajvansh's are not happy with her. Varsha comes and tells Kuhu that she is tense as what will she tell to Saurav's parents, Kuhu tells Varsha that Mishti can meet Shaurav and if things work out between them then it will be good. At first Varsha hesitates but later thinks it is not a bad idea and tells Kuhu that she will talk about this to Rajshree.

In the Rajvansh household, Meenakshi tells the doctor that she will bring Abir for the follow-up. Abir comes and asks Meenakshi how come she agreed for this alliance, she tells that she just cares for her son’s and for their happiness she can do anything. Meenakshi tells Abir that Kunal gets upset if Mishti is around him, Abir says he will make him understand that she is not at fault. Meenakshi tells Abir to trust her once, Abir says he trusts her and leaves. Kunal comes and tells Meenakshi that whatever they say against Mishti, Abir will not agree. Meenakshi tells Kunal that for this reason, she wanted Kuhu to be on their side. Kunal vows that he will never let Mishti and Abir be one.

In the precap, when Kunal and Kuhu go shopping, Mishti and Abir also come. Kunal gets upset seeing Mishti.
