In yesterday’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai we saw Vedika feels insecure upon spotting Kartik and Nair holding hands, while Akhilesh stuns Suhasini with rude behaviour. Later, Naira consoles a dejected Lisa. Tonight’s episode starts with Kartik (Mohsin Khan) messaging Naira (Shivangi Joshi) to share if she has thought of something, and tells Akhilesh was feeling guilty and worried. Naira writes, Liza is emotional and may do something. Just then Vedika comes and asks if he wants to share something with her, Kartik tells nothing and starts messaging Naira. Meanwhile, Naira cries thinking of old moment and prays that everything should be fine. Later, Vansh and Kairav start fighting again as who will become Lord Ganesh. Naira comes and tells them that Ganpati’s idol is coming home so they both can become Mushak who is Ganpati’s favourite, kids are happy. Naira makes both of them ready and tells them to welcome Ganpati. Kartik and Vedika get Ganpati. Everyone is happy. Kairav and Vansh dance. Naira records the dance. Later, Suhasini praises Vedika as she has decorated the jhanki well. Pandit says we can see idol and Jhanki everyone, Ganpati will be happy seeing these Mushaks. Kairav says it was Naira’s idea. Suhasini tells Naira used to celebrate festivals so well. The Ganpati puja starts, Kairav asks Naira why she did not make Ganesh idol this time as she used to make earlier. Kartik tells Naira to make a small idol of Ganesha. Naira makes the idol. Kairav says he looks cute. Naira and Kartik place the idol. Vedika gets upset. Suwarna asks Kartik and kids to start the aarti first. Everyone does the aarti one by one. On the other side, Kairav checks Liza’s message on Naira’s phone. Kairav says Liza wants to give surprise but he will surprise her. Kairav goes out and gets Liza inside to meet Ganpati, Liza cries and hugs Naira, Suhasini asks why is she crying. Naira sees Kartik. Akhilesh gets shocked. He thinks if Liza told everything to Surekha, what will happen then. Just then Akhilesh comes and tells not to listen to Liza as she is lying and that there was no affair between them, Manish says she did not say anything. Akhilesh is shocked. Later, Suhasini gets furious and slaps Akhilesh and tells him how could he do such a thing and did he not think once about his wife and kids. In the precap, Kartik and Naira dance happily.
