Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is one of the longest running and most successful shows on television. The show keeps its audiences hooked like never ever with its numerous twists and turns. Talking about it, producer Rajan Shahi, in a statement to Pinkvilla, said, "The whole story track is very organic and it's showing the new dimension of the new generation which has come into the show. It takes forward the relationship of Kartik and Naira in a very new set up and dimension."

Meanwhile, Shivangi Joshi, who is playing the female lead in the show, crooned a song for her show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Proud producer took to Instagram to share the news and post a picture of Shivangi, while his caption read, "SHIVANGI PROUD AND CONGRATS AS U DON A NEW HAT FOR YRKKH AS A SINGER, GARIMA CONGRATS FOR THIS AMAZING THOUGHT AND IDEA # YRKKH NEW HORIZON NEW JOURNEY."

Talking about Shivangi making her singing debut, Shahi told the portal, "Shivangi sang a lori (lullaby) for the first time. She was a bit nervous but she sang very well. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai showcases the multi-dimensional talents of all the actors. I am very proud that Shivangi is also singing for this show. The team is extremely happy after the final result and it's nice to see her own singing giving a personal touch to the entire situation and the song."

In other news, after Deblina Chatterjee bid adieu to the show, Simran Khanna has replaced the actress to play the role of Gayu, sister to Naira. Reportedly, Deblina has quit the show as she was expected to play mothers post generation leap and apparently, she was hesitant to play the roles twice her age right now.
