In yesterday’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we saw Kartik in a dilemma as he has to choose between Vedika and Naira. In tonight’s episode, we see him visit Naira to reveal his feelings for her. Kartik (Mohsin Khan) dreams about telling Naira (Shivangi Joshi) his feelings and how she will accept him and come back. Suddenly one of the house helps comes and asks him about some work. Kartik realizes that he was just dreaming. Later, he goes to Naira and tells her that he loves her and that he cannot live without her. Kartik tells that he will fight the world to win her back in his life. Kartik assures Naira that he will take care of their relationship and start afresh. He asks Naira to hold his hands and tell him about her feelings. Vedika comes and tells Kartik that she wants to talk to him about something important. Vedika tells Naira also to join them as she wants to talk to everyone. Everyone gathers and wonder why Vedika called them. Suhasini asks her what's the matter? Vedika then goes on to tell them that she had hidden one secret from them and shows a picture of Akshat and her together. Everyone is shocked by seeing Akshat's photo and question her. Manish asks Vedika to tell them the truth. Vedika tells that she and Akshat were engaged and narrates how they got trapped in her ex's plan. Vedika tells them that they were fed up with Akshat’s torture. She then goes on to tell how she felt like family with them while she was always scared of Akshat. Vedika gets emotional and cries. Vedika also tells everyone that Akshat was the one who kidnapped her. Vedika tells the Goenkas that she has warned him and that now he will stay away from them. Meanwhile, Akshat follows Vansh and Kairav in the park where they are playing. Vedika apologies to all as she hid this truth and gets emotional. Naira comes and consoles her and tells her to be brave. She also says that the family will support her decision.

In the next episode, Naira gets a panic call about Kairav's disappearance from her help. Naira informs Kartik about this.
