Today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Kartik (Mohsin Khan) fighting with the goons, just then one of them hit Kartik from back on his head, he collapses. Naira (Shivangi Joshi) sees this and comes to him but the goons take her away and start robbing her jewels. Kartik sees this but is not able to help her as he is hurt. As the goons try to touch Naira, Mihir comes there and fights with the goons, they all run away. Meanwhile there as Naira and Kartik comes home, all are shocked to see that Kartik has all bandage wrapped and ask them what happened. Suhasini gets sad seeing Kartik like this and asks if he is fine. Naira tells them all what all had happened. Samar asks Mihir how come he was there, he says that he had gone to attend some meeting and had stopped to have tea in the dhaba, suddenly they heard someone calling for help, so he along with his friends went and helped Kartik and Naira. Naira tells thank you to Mihir as he helped them. Mihir tells he has to go and tells Kartik to take care.

As Kartik is sleeping he thinks about what all happen and gets furious again as he could not do anything to save Naira. Naira is upset as the goons took away her finger ring and become emotional (who morey sahiya track is played in the background), both cry holding each other. Next day morning when Naira is praying in the temple she feels little dizzy, Suhasini and Swarna comes and ask what happened and tries to give her water but she says she cannot have anything as she is fasting for Kartik so that he gets well soon.

All make her understand that she has to support and help Kartik and if she does the fast then she herself will be unwell. But Naira says she has to keep this fast as Kartik is in a lot of pain and she cannot see him like this and wants Kartik to get well soon. All pray together in front of God for Kartik’s health. There Manish and Akhilesh gets tensed as they have signed the deal but now that Kartik is not well how will they complete it.

Kartik comes down with Naira and they all try to make him happy, Naira makes kachori for Kartik. Just then Kartik gets a call from Mihir, he asks how is he doing and tells him to give the phone to Naira as he has some work. Naira takes the phone and goes to a side and talks with him, Kartik gets jealous as to why Naira went to a side to talk with Mihir. In the precap, Manish tells Naira about the contract they signed before Kartik got hurt and asks her what they should do now.
