Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai was recently under fire for its on-going track. The whole Vedika-Kartik-Naira love triangle was recently slammed on social media with fans of the show trending '#WeWantKairaOnly' and demanding that makers give them a Kartik and Naira face-off ASAP. For those who came in late, Star Plus' longest-running show took a leap of 5 years, a month and a half back, where Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and Naira (Shivangi Joshi) were shown separated. The makers introduced actress Pankhuri Awasthy as Vedika, opposite Mohsin Khan as the parallel lead and while the fans expected her track to end soon, the current track of the show is focusing on Vedika and Kartik's marriage.

However, fans' wait will soon end on the day of Kartik and Vedika's marriage, for the latest promo of the show suggests that the 'KaIra' (Kartik and Naira) Milan will take place. In a recently released promo, Kartik is seen doing his wedding rituals when Kairav barges in and calls him Papa. While Kartik is in disbelief that his Naira is right in front of his eyes, Naira too gets extremely emotional. The pair look at each other with longing and the promo ends.

However, what we feel is that Naira being accepted back into the Goenka household will be quite tough and that the family will accuse her of betraying and hurting their feelings for walking away from them 5 years ago and also keeping them away from their grandchild Kairav.
