In yesterday’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlalta Hai, we saw Kartik struggles to trace Kairav’s location while Naira files a missing person’s report. Tonight’s episode starts with Kartik (Mohsin Khan) reaching Goa and searching for Kairav at the carnival. On the other hand, Kairav is happy as he sees a rainbow and blue butterflies, just like Naira (Shivangi Joshi) had told him he will when he meets his father. Meanwhile, Kairav is searching for his father. It gets difficult for Kartik to search for Kairav as he has not seen him before. Both Naira and Kartik search for Kairav and come to the same spot, but do not see each other. Naira feels that Kartik is nearby but is not able to see him because of the crowd (Oh More saiyya track plays in the background). Kairav searches for a charger so that he can talk to Kartik and find out where he is. Both Naira and Kartik pray to God for Kairav’s safety.

In the Carnival festival, a guy is reversing his car and doesn't see Kairav who is standing behind. Kartik comes and saves Kairav from getting rammed by the car. Kairav becomes unconscious and Kartik tries to wake him up and tells him to open his eyes as his father has come. Kairav is overjoyed to see Kartik and asks him where he was until now and did his mission get over. Kartik hugs Kairav and feels a connection. Suhasini and Vedika check into a hotel room in Goa. Manish calls Suhasini and informs her that Kartik has come to Goa to meet Vedika. Kairav tells Kartik that they have to go to school as it is Father’s Day and he wants to show all his friends that his father has come. They both spend some quality time with each other and Kairav tells Kartik that they should surprise his mother and not call her before going home and leads Kartik to his house.

In the precap, Kairav brings Kartik home with him but finds out that Naira is not at home.
