In the last episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai we saw Kartik is uncontrollable when he comes to know that Naira is dead. Tonight’s episode starts with a leap of five years, Naira (Shivangi Joshi) thinks about Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and gets emotional. Naira sees a girl drowning in the sea and dives in and saves her. After  Naira finishes her exercise she goes home. Naira is currently staying in Goa and has changed her name to Tina. She is seen having a kid too and his name is Kairav. Naira and her kid are having some nice time together with each other.

Naira goes to meet the father in the church and tells that she is tensed about what will she tell Kairav, when he asks about his father. Naira tells the father that she does not want to reveal anything about Kartik to him or about her past. Back home in the Goenka Mansion, Kartik is playing with Vansh as it is his birthday. Suhasini and everybody else are preparing for his birthday party. Kartik is happy and says he will arrange everything and invite all of Vansh’s friends himself. Kartik is busy in his life and happy as Vansh is in his life, but he still remembers Naira a lot as she is in his heart always and can never forget her.

In the precap, Kaira tells Naira that he came to know who is his father, hearing this Naira gets tensed.
