In yesterday’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai we saw how a bomb hoax frightens everyone and amidst this chaos, Naira spots Kartik, but is unable to reach him. Later, Kartik decides to meet Kairav’s mother. Tonight’s episode starts with Kairav enquiring about his father and why he has not come until now. Naira (Shivangi Joshi) is already in dismay as she saw Kartik (Mohsin Khan) in the exhibition and gets emotional. Naira gives Kairav her phone and asks him to call his father and ask him to meet. At the hotel, Suhasini asks Vedika where Kartik is and when will they be leaving for Mumbai? Vedika tells Suhasini that Kartik has some work and he will come soon, then they will leave. Meanwhile, Naira goes to the exhibition again and thinks about Kartik and that now that she has made up her mind to live without Kartik, why has he come back into her life. Naira thinks why fate has brought back Kartik in her life again.

Kartik comes to meet Kairav and vows that he will not return to meet him as he does not want to create problems between Kairav and his mother. Kartik plans to tell Kairav the truth about not being his father as he cannot lie anymore. Kairav gets happy seeing Kartik home and shows him the painting he has made. Kartik mistakes Lisa for Kairav’s mother and asks forgiveness. Lisa introduces herself and tells that Kairav’s mother has gone out and will be home soon. Kairav asks Kartik to play football with him and takes him to the garden. Just then Naira comes home and thinks that she will not allow the stranger to take Kairav’s father’s place. Naira watches Kairav playing with the stranger and enjoying and feels happy for him. Naira gets surprised when she sees Kartik playing with Kairav. (Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai track plays in the background). Naira reminisces about her past and imagines Kartik and her enjoying with Kairav (woh jo adhuri si yaad baki hai track plays in the background).

In tomorrow's episode, Kartik takes a selfie with Kairav. Kartik calls Kairav’s mother as she is not home and hears the phone ring inside the house.
