In yesterday’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we saw how in an effort to make Kairav happy, Naira decides to trick him. Later, Kairav accuses Suhasini of being a kidnapper. Tonight's episode starts with Suhasini laughing as Kairav calls her thief and tells Kartik (Mohsin Khan) that he reminded her of Kartik in his childhood. On the other hand, the goon who was following Suhasini, tells his companion to come and loot whatever they can get their hands on and goes inside to plant a fake bomb so that people get scared and run. The goon shouts that there is a bomb so that everyone panics and starts running to save their lives. Meanwhile, Kartik tells Vedika to go out and sit in the car and says that he will bring Suhasini along with him. There Kairav is with Lisa and she brings him outside safely. Inside as Naira searches for Kairav, Kartik saves her from a falling chandelier but does not see her. A mirror falls down beside Naira and she sees Kartik (rehna kyu pehla jaisa tere mere baatein sajna track play in the background). Naira gets up to look for Kartik but the crowd pushes her and she thinks maybe it is her dream. Again, Naira sees Kartik and shouts at him but Kartik is not able to hear her.

Some firefighters come in and tell all the people to go out fast and take them all in a safer place. Outside the exhibition, Kairav is upset and cries for Naira. Kartik comes out and hugs Suhasini as she is safe. Naira also comes out and meets Kairav and hugs him. In the hotel room, Suhasini tells Vedika that she has to bear the loss as everything is gone. Kartik tells that it is okay for them, but this loss will be hard on those, whose livelihood depended on this exhibition. Suhasini asks Kartik to book their return tickets as she does not want to stay in Goa. Kartik tells her that he will find out if tickets are available and book them. Kartik thinks he should finish the work for which he came to Goa first.

Meanwhile, Naira is distraught as to why God does this to her and wonders that just when she was trying to live without Kartik, he brought him near her and made her life very difficult. Naira gets emotional and cries.

In the hotel room, Kartik also feels that Naira is around. Vedika comes to his room and asks why is he happy. Kartik reveals to Vedika about why he came to Goa and tells her that he does not know what connection he has with the child (Kairav) but he wants to help him. Vedika says that is why he has made the evening flight and not in the morning. Kartik tells that he is going to meet Kairav’s mother. At the house, Naira gets tensed thinking about what will she do when Kartik comes in front of her.

In the next episode, Kartik goes home to meet Kairav and Naira goes to the exhibition in search of Kartik.
