In yesterday’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we saw Naira reveals Kartik’s real identity to Lisa while a furious Suhasini makes a shocking demand to Vedika. Later, Akhilesh is baffled to spot Naira on the road. Today’s episode starts with a stormy night, Naira (Shivangi Joshi) gets scared. She recalls how she once shared with Kartik (Mohsin Khan) that the stormy night scares her. She hears a knock on the door and is shocked to see Kartik standing at her door. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai July 8, 2019, Written Update Full Episode: Kartik Returns to Spend Quality Time with Kairav.

Meanwhile, at Singhania house, Swarna praises Vedika for her sensibility. She says her mother-in-law is not wrong but she is happy that at least she tried to change her way of thinking. She tells her that she feels bad for Naira and wishes Naira to be alive and could meet. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai July 5, 2019, Written Update Full Episode: Naira Takes Kairav To Meet His Father, But Kartik Leaves Goa.

On the other side, it's dark and Kartik can't see Naira's face but Naira can as she is holding the torch. He introduces himself as Kairav's fake father and asks for help. He tells her that he was on his way to the airport but his car broke down and he can't call another car as there are network issues. He asks her if he can make a call from her landline. Naira replies with just shaking her head and shows the landline through torchlight. Kartik calls her uncle and asks him to book another flight for him when Naira comes and hugs him. But, it's Naira's imagination. Kartik decides to stay at Naira's place until the car is repaired. Kartik feels it's Naira but then reprimands himself for thinking so.

Kartik apologizes to Naira and tells her he shouldn't have met Kairav but he couldn't stop himself. When he gets no reply from her, he asks if she is okay but she doesn't reply. Kartik is about to leave when Kairav wakes up.

On the other hand, Suhasini is worried for Kartik's future. Kairav thanks Kartik from coming. Kartik takes leave and says he won't come again while Naira continues to keep mum and shed tears (rahe na kyu tere mere bathe pehley jaise track plays in the background). After Kartik leaves, the electricity is restored and Naira finds Kartik's hanky.

Next morning, Kartik is back in Udaipur. Vansh meets him and tells him how much he missed him. Later, he tells Vedika that his flight got canceled. When Kartik asks about Dadi, a house help informs him that she didn't go to the temple today.

Meanwhile, Naira tells Kairav that they will go for a picnic. Kartik knocks on Dadi's room but barges in when he doesn't get inside. He sees her lying on the floor and get paranoid. She blabbers about Kartik's marriage and becomes unconscious.

In the precap, Lisa shows Naira the news which is shown in the t.v. that Suhasini’s health is deteriorating and remembers that she had told her once that she wants to see Kartik’s child once before she dies.
