Today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Kartik (Mohsin Khan) showing Naira (Shivangi Joshi) their photo and telling that he is looking so handsome and she is looking so golomolo and cute. Naira feels bad and thinks previously Kartik used to praise her so much and now he has changed. The ladies tell all the boys to go out as they have to start the programme. Kartik and all the men of the house feel sad that they are out but Chachu has some plan. Kartik calls Naksh and enquires where he is now. Naksh tells Kartik that he wanted to surprise Kirti but now he has got some work and that he won’t be able to reach to attend the function. Kartik tells Naksh to try his best to come.

Inside the function is going, Naira asks Kirti that has she changed very much during pregnancies as Kartik does not feel her as beautiful as she was. Kirti tells Naira that she should enjoy her pregnancy and ignore such things. Kartik loses his patience and tells that he wants to go in and attend the function. Kartik tells that they should change this ritual that boys can’t attend the function. Suhasini tells everyone that let's start with the game which is named gup-chup. Kirti asks about this game and Surekha tells that in this game ladies have to share all their secrets. Kaveri tells that let us change this game a little and that everyone will act as their husband. Kaveri tells Surekha to do it first. Everybody sit down and Surekha acts as Akhilesh and all of them laugh. All the men have come inside dressed as women and are watching the programme, then Swarna comes and acts as Manish and everyone enjoys it. Naira tells Kirti to act, but she says first let Naira act as Kartik. Naira comes and acts as Kartik, seeing this Kartik gets angry. All the ladies act as their spouses and enjoy the functions. The panditayin tells let's start our rituals now but everyone tells let Naksh come first. All the ladies start dancing and singing together (Dol bhajawo sabi jhumey sabi track is played in the background) Bhabhi Maa remembers Akshara and cries and tells Naira is looking like her and gets emotional.

Kartik and all the men dance to the song while the ladies see them dancing. Suhasini shouts at them but all dance together happily. Naira feels that Kartik if ignoring her and is feeling sad. Kartik notices that Naira is upset. The Pandityani tells to start the ritual and ask for the bag. Kaveri goes to get it but does not find it and ask Devyani whether she knows about it, everyone is tensed as to where they kept it. Luv and kush get the bag and gives it to Kaveri. Suhasini taunts and tells them that this function should have been at their place, nothing like this would have happened. The pandityani tells Kirti and Naira to decorate the aarti plate and bring it. Naira is decorating the plate for Kirti suddenly someone calls and she leaves it and goes, just then Suhasini comes and sees that Naira has decorated the plate but the coconut is not nice and tells Surekha that in this function coconut is very important. Suhasini gets irritated as coconuts are not good and tell Surekha to get new coconuts for the pooja. Naira comes and takes her plate just then Kartik comes and kisses her and ask if she wants any help and brings a handmade doll for her. Naksh calls and says that he cannot attend the function, Naira also feels bad for Kirti.
