Today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Naira (Shivangi Joshi) telling Suhasini to prepare laddoos for her so that her baby should be healthy and not for a baby boy or baby girl. Naira tells Suhasini that if her mother or Suhasini’s mother would have done such things they would not have come in this world. Naira tells that girls are as important as boys. Suhasini cries when Naira tells this and hugs her and tells her to forgive her. Suhasini tells that what she has seen from the childhood she just listened and wanted everyone to do it. Kartik (Mohsin Khan) also hugs her and tells her to stop crying. Naira tells Suhasini to prepare more ladoos and hide it in the cupboard so that Kartik would not steal it and eat it. Luv and Kush along with Naira are watching a violent movie and Naira is eating popcorn, just then Kartik comes and tells not to see this kind of picture with violence as it is not good for her. Kartik tells Naira to see good things in the TV so that her baby should get good values. Naira gets a dream that something bad is going to happen and thinks that Dadi has told the truth and that she should not see this kind of movie.

Kartik is applying nail paint to Naira’s nail and tell her to tell him whenever she wants her help. Naira tells let us take a photo and when they hold their mobile Kartik remembers that today is doctors appointment and Naira remembers that she has to fill the correspondence from and that it is the last date today. Kartik gets little upset, Naira asked what is the matter. Kartik tells that is this time good or whether she will get stressed up and that she will not have time for herself and enjoy pregnancies. Naira tells Kartik that let's ask the doctor and if he says to continue then she will do it. Naira is again getting the same feelings as to something wrong is going to happen.

While Kirti is talking with Naksh on phone she sees Aditya inside the car and he is holding the hand of Vaishali and arguing about something. Vaishali comes inside and hands over the cheque to Kirti and tells her that it is her advance payment. Vaishali tells Kirti to get her dress ready as she and Aditya are getting married very soon. Kirti tells her when you decide to tell me and she will get it ready. Kirti asks Vaishali does she love Aditya and that she is marrying him after knowing everything.

Naira is still getting bad dreams again and again so she tries to see something good in T.V but sees that all the channels are blocked. Naira comes to know that Kartik did this and gets wild at him. Kartik asks Manish that if he will get paternal leave so that he can take care of Naira but Manish tells him that everyone is there at home and that he should concentrate on his work. But Kartik tells Manish that he will stay at home and work and help Naira in her studies. Manish revolts but Suhasini gives her a pen and wishes her all the best. Suhasini tells it is a very good decision as she will be busy.

Suhasini tells Naira that she can study but whatever pooja she tells Naira has to attend it and not make any excuses. Kartik also promises nothing will happen and tells Suhasini that they have to go to visit the doctor and they go from there. Manish gets angry on Kartik's decision of working from home but Suhasini tells let time only plan and that they should not say anything now. While Naira and Kartik are going Naira leg slips and she is about to fall when Kartik helps her. In the precap, when Kartik and Naira go to meet the doctor she again imagines the accident scene.
