Today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with a man coming from the new city hospital and tells Naira (Shivangi Joshi) that he has come to give the vaccination. Naira calls out to Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and tells him that this guy has come to give an injection to our baby and that she is going to bring the baby and the file and goes from there. Kartik tells the men to sit and that he will come in a second and goes. Naira searches for her bag and asks Kartik if he has seen it. Naira sees that her bag is lying down and wonders how come it came here. Kartik sees that  Leela has got the file papers. Naira opens her bag and sees the file papers are not there and tell the men to put the injection now and that she will come to show the papers in the hospital later, but the man says he can’t do it without the paper. Naira tells him that they must be having the record in the hospital but the man says that they have to match it with the paper and then give the injection and tells them to come to the hospital the next day. Naira feels sad and tells Kartik that he must be thinking how irresponsible she is and gets upset and goes.

The pandit tells Naira and Kartik to come for the pooja with the baby, Naira comes and says that one more person should be here and tells Naksh to keep a speaker in Kirti’s room so that she can hear everything in her room and maybe by God's grace Kirti will get well soon. Manish and Akhilesh tell that this is a good idea and maybe the voice of mantra, and the cry of the baby will wake Kirti up from her sleep. Naira tells that Kirti will get up hearing all this voice. Naksh goes to Kirti’s room and installs the speaker there so that she can hear everything. Naksh talks with Kirti and says that Naira’s baby is too cute and that their daughter was also very cute and tells Kirti to enjoy the naming ceremony of the baby and holds Kirti’s hand and tells her to get well soon. Down the pooja starts, Kartik is little tensed. The pandit tells them to stand for the aarti.  The pandit tells everyone to give blessings to the baby. The baby starts crying. The pandit tells that they can start the function of the naming ceremony. Everyone wants their name to be selected. Everyone write their names and tell Naira and Kartik to select the best name they want  (Sujawo kuch laala kha naam track is played in the background). All dance and enjoy the ceremony. Luv and Kush ask for the name which is finalized. Naira tells that all the name is good but they will choose one name and takes the plate to write but as she is going to write the baby starts crying, seeing this Naira tells Kartik to write and goes to attend the baby. Kartik thinks something and then writes in the plate, Naira tells him to show the name. Kartik shows the name, it is Krish. Naira is shocked hearing the name as they have decided other name. There Kirti moves her hand listening to the name Krish.

In the precap, Naira questions Kartik why he changed the name of their baby.
