In yesterday’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the family celebrates Kartik and Naira’s sangeet ceremony in high spirits, but Vedika has an emotional breakdown. In tonight’s episode, we see Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and Naira (Shivangi Joshi) start their performance on stage. Suddenly the light goes off. Naira takes Kartik aside and tells him that he forgot something. Kartik is unable to recollect. Naira gets angry as he forgot to praise her as always he used to do. Kartik apologises to Naira as he forgot and tries to pacify her. Naira gets angry and goes out. Kartik goes behind her. Kartik holds Naira and gets romantic with her. They both are unaware that they are on a truck. Meanwhile, in the Goenka house, lights come back on and everyone searches for Kartik and Naira. Vedika on the other hand, gets disturbed and thinks that no one cares for her. Vedika thinks Kartik could have been hers and thinks why did she let him go from her life. Naksh calls Kartik but he is busy with Naira and does not pick the call. The truck driver hears the phone ringing and stops his truck to find out. He sees Naira and Kartik on his truck and is shocked. He asks Kartik and Naira what are they doing here?

Kartik video calls Naksh and tells everyone that they are on a truck. Kartik tells the family do they remember, the first time he met Naira was also in a truck. Kartik and Naira dance, while the family watches them from the house and enjoys. Suddenly the house help comes and tells everyone to come out of the house. All are happy to see Kartik and Naira. Naira calls out everyone to dance with them. Suhasini prays to God that everything should be fine till the marriage. The advocate comes home as he wants to talk to Kartik about his divorce case. He tells that as the judge is getting transferred to another city, they have to be sure to be present on the said date or else they have to explain the whole case to the new judge and that might take a few days. Manish gets disturbed as the divorce hearing is on the same date of Kartik and Naira's wedding. The advocate tells them to reach the court on time as they cannot take any risk this time. Suhasini tells she will bring Kartik and Vedika on time. Suddenly Naira sees Vedika standing on the terrace who seems to be very upset. Naira gets upset and prays that everything should be fine.

At night, Naira dreams that Kartik is going away from her and get tensed. Next day morning, as Suhasini is praying she sees the house help find Vedika’s mobile lying outside the house. Suhasini tells them to give it to her. Suhasini sees that Vedika has saved all of Kartik’s photos on her mobile and gets disturbed. Suhasini tells Suwarna that she wants to go to the Singhania house now.

Kaveri and Devyani tells Naira that she should get ready as it is her Mehendi today. Vedika tells her she will make the Mehendi paste for Naira. Just then Suhasini comes and tells her to stop.

In the next episode, as Naira comes for her Mehendi function, her legs get entangled in the carpet and she falls down the stairs.
