In yesterday’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai we saw during the Janmashtami preparations, Kairav asks Naira to decorate the Jhaki instead of Vedika. Later, Naira tries to pacify Vansh when he feels excluded. Tonight’s episode starts with Kartik (Mohsin Khan) sees Naira (Shivangi Joshi) coming dressed up who is looking beautiful and reminisces the good times they had together and dreams as he is dancing with her (Ek dhuje haathu khe lakiru kha track plays in the background). Just then Kairav comes and tells Kartik to see how beautiful Naira is looking and forces Kartik also to say that Naira is looking beautiful. Meanwhile, Suhasini sees Naira dressed up and asks Swarna who gave her these clothes, Swarna says she gave her as Kairav had wished that his mother should wear a new dress like all other family members.

Later when Vedika comes dressed up Kairav says she looks the second-best looking as first is his mother. All prepare for the puja, Kairav comes and guides them on how to do the puja, all are shocked to see that he knows so much. Kairav tells everyone that Naira has taught him all. Swarna also praises Naira and tells she is the best mother.

On the other side, Suhasini tells to start the puja, both the kids say aarti. Suhasini and all sing and dance (Ju hai albela jiskey deewani track plays in the background). Naira watches them all and feels happy. Kairav comes and tells Naira also to dance. Naira dances, Kairav tells Kartik also to dance with her. Later Vansh tells Vedika to dance with them. Three of them dance together.

Later Kairav tells Kartik and Naira to do aarti with him and do prayer. Vedika feels disturbed and gets upset. In the precap, Naksh comes to the Goenka’s to take Naira and Kairav home. Kartik gets enraged and chides Naira as she cannot take Kairav away from him.
