In yesterday’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we saw Kairav orders Naira and Kairav to patch up while the Singhania’s are unhappy about his decision. Later, Suhasini berates Naira for entering Kartik’s room. Tonight’s episode starts with Naira (Shivangi Joshi) makes an excuse of a phone call and tells Kairav that his father will feed him khichdi. However, Kairav says he will have only if she feeds him. Meanwhile, Manish tells Suhasini that it's difficult to keep the mother and son away she asks him to leave it to God. Naira tells Kartik (Mohsin Khan) that Kairav can't stay with him as he needs his mother and she will leave post the Janmashtami puja. Naira tells Kartik that Kairav will stay at Singhania mansion and whoever wants to meet him can come there. On the other side, Vansh creates a ruckus and asks Gayu to throw Kairav out of his room and also expresses his displeasure for making him, Krishna. Samarth tells Vansh that from now on Kairav will be living in this house as he is Kartik's son and he is not well so Kartik will be spending more time with him. Samarth comes and chides Vansh and warns him to behave.

Later, Kairav refuses to have medicines so Naira asks Kartik to dance to divert his attention. Kartik's dance helps Naira in getting Kairav to have his medicines. Naira messages Naksh that she is feeling awkward in Goenka house but is forced to stay because of Kairav. After Kartik leaves with Kairav, Swarna and Naira have an emotional reunion. Swarna tells her she knew it was her who used to give blank calls. Swarna tells that she should have come a little early and everything would be fine and cries.

Meanwhile, Kairav asks Vedika to stop and asks Naira to decorate the jhanki instead. Naira says this is not right and explains to him that in a family people do things together. He apologizes to Vedika. Kairav instructs while Vedika and others decorate the jhanki.

Later, Naira sees Vansh upset and Gayu cajoling him. He asks Naira to take her son away otherwise he will tell him the truth. She says sorry and tells him that he is Kairav's elder brother like Balram is for Krishna and also tells him how strong and powerful he was. Kairav calls Naira to show her the decoration and asks whether she wants anything more to add. Meanwhile, Vansh comes down dressed as Balram and hugs Kairav. The entire family is happy to see them together.

On the other side, in the Singhania’s household, Naksh is decorating for Janmashtami puja. Badi Dadi calls Suhasini to know how things at her house are. She expresses her happiness and says she wants to live this moment and does not want to think about what will happen later. Suhasini calls everyone for Janmashtami puja.
