Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai today demands Kaira reunion. Naira (Shivangi Joshi) and Kartik (Mohsin Khan) are pulled back as Kartik loosens himself from the belt and walks off in a huff as Naira still untying herself screams to him to stop. Manish and Naitik watch the two and are worried. Naira follows Kartik sadly who does not want to speak her. Suhasini sits praying at the ganga ghat with Rajeshwari and Swarna. The goon involved in the trafficking watch her and know for sure that they would never become a hindrance for their own plan as Suhasini and family seems too worried with their own issues.

Suhasini says that she never wished to separate Naira and Karik and that she just wanted them to be happily together. Swarna says that they should pray for their kids together. They are hopeful that now things will get better between Kartik and Naira soon enough. Kartik and Naira imagine each other as they miss each other. Naira thinks that she is aware about her mistakes and will never repeat this in this relationships on which she trusts more than anything. Naira and Kartik meet as they stand facing each other.

Naira asks Kartik to forgive her for hurting him and that she would never do that again. Shubham sits at a party as he thinks about what happened. He watches a couple fighting and shares his grief with the bartender saying he does not have anyone to fight with or share his issues with. A girl sitting away hears this as Shubham walks away. Naira sits crying alone as she thinks about why she is unable to share her feeling with Kartik. She thinks that she should do something about this. Suddenly some goons walk up to her and stand in front of her.

Shubham sits drinking when he notices a girl dancing away and is enchanted by her. The girl sits beside him as he watches awed. Naira tells the goons that she is Tina and everybody in Rishikesh knows her. Some of the goons run off but two of them still charge at her. Kartik intervenes and beats up the goons. Later he scolds Naira for coming to a secluded spot. She says she wanted to cry alone. They keep fighting and finally manage to get some things out of their heart. The goons who got beaten up turn out to be Manish and Naitik. They return back to Rajeshwari and Swarna and tells them they would do anything to make Naira and Kartik reunite.

Shubham cracks up a conversation with the lady who starts flirting with him saying he is a Goenka yet has no attitude. Shubham is elated to have found this woman. Manish and Naitik talk to Naira while Swarna and Rajeshwari talk to Kartik. Manish and Naitik tells Naira men are like that and they get effected by small things. Swarna and Rajeshwari make Kartik understand that he should have talked to Naira when he came to know about the topic of being henpecked. Manish asks Naira if she would let her wedding anniversary just go waste. They elders manage to convince Niara and Kartik to try and talk things out with each other.
