Today's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Naksh taking Kartik to task for meeting Naira. Naksh says that Kartik(Mohsin Khan) needs to stick to his promise and also not put the families in any more trouble.

Naira is sad to see this but is unable to stop Nakhs. Later Kartik drops the gift he brought for Naira. He drives away, and Naira picks up the gift without anyone noticing. Kartik returns home as Swarna notices that he is sad. She wants to ask him, but Manish stops her.

Swarna overhears Luv-Kush speaking about how Naksh scolded Kartik. She is furious and calls Devyani for it. She starts questioning her on why Kartik was insulted.(Also Read: Naksh Warns Kartik Against Meeting Naira Again)

Devyani asks her to ask Kartik about the incident and not trouble them. They have a severe confrontation, and Suhasini finally hangs up. There Naira tries the gift Kartik made for her and Kartik is dreaming about his meeting with Naira.

Manish barges in and asks Kartik to chose between his family and Naira. He forbids Kartik from meeting Naira anymore. Naksh too tells Naira that if she keeps meeting Kartik, then everything she fought for will go vain. Naira and Kartik wonder if they should not meet again.

They try messaging each other but refrain from doing that. Swarna tries talking to Kartik as she tells him that she was going to tell him about Ashi but wanted him to first come out of the divorce. Kartik tells her that he can not forgive such a thing so easily.

There Rajshri tells Naira that she is complicating things by meeting Kartik. Naksh decides that they should not go for the Janmashtami celebration to avoid the Goenkas. Next day during the pooja Kirti returns home and thanks God that everything is fine.

Kartik has a nightmare where he sees Naira walking into the fire, and he panics. He tries calling her and is relaxed only after he hears her voice on the phone. He wonders why he saw that. In the temple Dadi tells the family about death and that she had a premonition about it.

Kartik asks her if such things are real. Dadi explains that if the person is close to you, then such premonitions do happen. He sees Naira walking by and her dupatta on fire.
