Today's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata starts with Kartik(Mohsin Khan) and Naira(Shivangi Joshi) facing each other as they sit together in the hospital. Naira asks Kartik to leave as she will go back home on her own. Kartik asks her why she stopped dancing; Naira asks him why he started drinking.

They fight over the questions and not finding answers. The doctor calls Kartik out. The doctor asks Kartik how did Naira get the injury and tells him about an old injury that she might have. Kartik gets confused. The doctor urges Kartik to convince Naira to get the leg adequately treated.

A nurse informs them that Naira left after paying her bills. Kartik is furious at her for being so stubborn. Naitik and the Singhania's decide that they have to keep trying to get Naira and Kartik together. They decide to throw a party for Naksh and Kirti's wedding anniversary, and also invite the Goenkas.

Naitik is preparing the invites with Kirti when he gets a call from Kartik. Kartik asks Naitik about the injury on Naira's leg. Naitik and Naksh get worried as they come to know that Naira had her leg sprained at the same place. Naitik asks Kartik if he tried asking Naira about this and also suggests he asks her only. Naksh asks Naitik to call Naira and find out if the injury is bad.

Naitik calls Naira, but she tells him that she is fine and in no pain anymore. Later Naira cannot sleep as she worries about Kartik's alcoholism. She wonders if he has returned home. Kitu comes home, and Naira asks her if she saw Kartik's car below.

Kitu laughs as she reveals that she had seen Kartik and Naira together the night before but also promises that she will not say this to anyone. Naira thinks about calling Kartik while Kartik is wondering if he should call Naira. Naira walks down and asks Kitu to call Kartik and check where he is.

Kitu tries his number, but the number is switched off. Naira now cannot hold, and she walks to Dadi's door. She asks Dadi if Kartik comes home late every night and also incoherently speaks about how Dadi should try to talk to Kartik and find out what he is up to.

Dadi asks Naira to be clear in what she is saying. As Naira turns to leave she sees Kartik walking in. Manish is shocked when Sulekha tells him that Swarna is off to Shirdi. Later they all are surprised when Singhania's walk in with anniversary party invitations.

Manish later calls Swarna and asks her to stay in Shirdi and go nowhere else until he joins her. Swarna though speaks to her driver about Malabar hill where Kartik and Naira are staying.

Naira and Kartik are surprised by Naksh and Kirti's arrival. Naira is overwhelmed, but Kartik is sceptical about Kirti's agenda. Naira is worried that Naksh and Kirti will spend their anniversary away from each other.
