Today's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Kartik(Mohsin Khan) telling Naira(Shivangi Joshi) that it is just because of this wedding that they have to bear each other and this would end soon.

As Naira walks away, the other women are lurking around as they have heard the entire conversation and now aware of Naira and Kartik's broken marriage.

The engagement takes place, and the family sings and dances. Later the women approach Suhasini and mock her. They ask her about Kartik marriage being broken.

Naira sees this and walks up to them and tells them off. She says that whatever was there was between her and Kartik. She says that this decision was all theirs and they should stop pestering Dadi about the same.

The women walk away, but Dadi is left angry. Dadi tells Naira that she had just wanted that this should not come out and now it has. She blames Naira for always making it worse for the family and also adds that the entire mistake was hers and not Kartik'.

Kartik sees the alteration and walks in. Dadi complains to him saying Naira just told everyone about their divorce. Kartik gets furious and asks Naira if she will ever know what things to share and what not to.

Naira refuses to explain herself to him anymore and walks away as she says that they will meet tomorrow at the lawyer now and that would be probably the last time they meet.

As Naira walks out Ashi enters. Ashi walks to Kartik and hugs him. The family is surprised. Ashi and Kartik excitedly talk as Ashi turns out to be Kartik's best friend. Ashi demands to see Naira and complains that Kartik did not invite her for his wedding.

Swarna is relieved to have the girl finally. Suhasini explains to the Singhanias that Ashi is actually Kartik's childhood friend and she was in the US all this while. Ashi and Kartik sit down to talk as Swarna watches them.

Kirti looks at her mother. Naira is depressed by Kartik's words and she gorges on brownies. Naksh joins her and keeps her company also cheers her. Later Kartik is seen telling Ashi about his divorce, and Ashi asks him if he is sure about this. Swarna fondly watches the two, but soon Kirti confronts her.
