Kartik creates a scene at the pub after getting drunk
Today's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Kartik (Mohsin Khan) realising that he imagined Naira(Shivangi Joshi) and Kunal. Later Naira is seen sending her father Naitik and Chitty off to Udaipur. Suhasini speaks to Manish as Manish says that he has his hopes in her now. Suhasini is happy that at least Kartik is out of his suffocating life at Udaipur where he was doing just what Swarna asked him to do.
Manish asks Suhasini to make Naira return to Kartik's life. Suhasini tells him that she does not know what is Kartik's happiness, if it is Naira's returning to him or if it is Naira going away. Kartik drinks as he looks at Naira's video with him. He remembers how she mistrusted him. Naira too recalled that she was distrustful towards Kartik and blames herself for being stupid.
Kartik hears a couple profess love and he laughs at them and says that love is stupid. The bouncers try throwing him out, but an employee there recognises Kartik and lets him stay. Kartik then calls Naira asking her why she was unfair to him. Naira senses that Kartik is drunk and she decides to go and check on him. Kartik creates a ruckus in the pub as the people there try to tackle him.
Naira reaches the place and is shocked to see Kartik in a drunken state. She tries snatching his bottle away but he will not let go, and he pushes her away. Naitik reaches home, and Naksh who is sitting in the garden happily walks to him but stops when he hears Naitik calling Naira. Naksh sits back in the garden as no one notices him.
Naitik is welcomed home, and the family sits down talking and laughing as Kirti tries reaching Naksh. Naksh does not take her calls. Naitik later speaks to Kirti, and she asks him to meet Naksh as he misses him a lot these days. Naksh walks in and hugs his father, and they decide to talk over a cup of tea. Naira manages to pull Kartik into a cab finally and asks the pub employee to send the bill to her address. The employee though tells her that Kartik is a regular and he himself will settle the bills the next time; this leaves Naira shocked.
