Today's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Kunal requesting Naira(Shivangi Joshi) to give him a chance to help them all. Naira agrees, and she asks Kunal to spread this amongst the students that Tanvi's family is ready to pay lakhs so that this matter can be dissolved. Kunal agrees to do that. Suddenly they hear Kartik's announcement that the culprit has been nabbed.

Naira wonders why Kartik is lying. Kartik is sure that now the culprit will be easier to nab as he would be more relaxed. Swarna is speaking to her club mates as she wants to finish her work soon enough and go to Mumbai. The woman tells Swarna once again about a prospective girl for Kartik who was Kartik's childhood friend and now is in Mumbai.

Swarna says that she has not thought about this until now and walks away as she sees Bhabhima watching her. Bhabhi ma tells Devyani that Swarna was speaking about Kartik's second marriage, but Devyani is sure that this might not be the case. Kartik makes the dean announce that there is going to be a celebrity meet in the auditorium and asks the college to gather there. Naira thinks that Kartik shushed the entire matter for the celebrity arrival.

At the Audi gates, the phones of the students are submitted with their name stickers on it. Kartik watches them as they go in. Kartik chances to notice Naira watching and following Kunal. Kunal is busy working out Naira's plan. The phones submitted are taken in by the cyber cell people who start going through each phone.

Naira is keeping a close watch on Kunal and the people he is talking to. Kirti finds a very frustrated Naksh, and he tells her angrily that Manish sends him the investors. Kirti is angry as she feels Naksh is overthinking and says that Manish is like a father to him and he has all the right to help him. Kirti accuses Naksh's mentality for the entire issue.

Kirti decides to call Naitik home as she feels only Naitik can make Naksh understand things. She calls Naitik and asks him to come home for a few days as there is an emergency. Naitik decides to go even though he is reluctant about leaving Naira alone. Naira notices Sunny another one of their classmate walk in. Sunny takes Kunal aside and starts speaking to him.

Naira gets doubtful. Kartik receives information from the cyber team, and he too looks at Sunny. Kunal signals Naira, and she knows that Sunny is the culprit. Kartik and Naira both charge at Sunny and him. Kartik is shocked as he sees Naira. Later Suhasini announces that this was their plan to nab the culprit. Kartik lashes out at Naira for not trusting him and also not sharing her plan with him. He also accuses her of taking Kunal's help but his.

Kartik angrily walks away without taking the car. Naira reaches home and finds Naitik packing. Naitik tells Naira about Kirti's call, and Naira feels that Naitik and Chitty both should go. Later at the bar, Kartik starts drinking and he notices outside Naira speaking to Kunal as she thanks him for his support and Kunal takes her hand in his.
