Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 23rd March 2018 Written Update of Full Episode: Naira Concentrates On Treating Her Medical Condition While Hiding It From The Family

Today's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has the family around Shubham as Naira(Shivangi Joshi) asks him if he is fine and also why he was so stupid. Shubham walks away saying he is fine when Kartik(Mohsin Khan) slaps him. Swarna stops Kartik but he says that he is Shubham's elder brother and he has every right to be angry when his younger one makes a stupid move. He then asks Shubham what he was thinking pulling off such a stunt. He says that people who resolve to such measure to get their way should never be heeded to. He adds that the family has still not been able to recover from the loss of a loved one to suicide. Naira too tells Shubham that suicide is never a resolve for anything.

Kartik asks Shubham to fight for his rights and also his wishes and try to convince everyone but resolving to such lowly measures is not expected of him. Manish adds that he is not interfering now as Kartik and Naira have already made the point but if he does interfere in future it will not be a very pleasant experience. Swarna requests Dadi and the family to stop scolding Shubham and also that they should meet Suhana and fix the wedding soon enough. Naira asks Swarna to give it a bit time as it would be wrong to rush into any decisions at all. Naira again gets Suhana's call who asks her where Shubham is, Swarna snatches the phone away and tells Suhana that they would meet her soon also that everything would happen just as Shubham wishes. Suhana is elated at this.

Kartik asks the staff to keep an eye on Shubham and also not to leave him alone. Naira watches him all worried and decides to keep her pregnancy issues to herself for the time. She decides to speak to him the  next morning only. Next morning Naira wakes up early and thinks that she will waste no time and speak to Kartik as soon as he wakes. Naira decides to meditate a bit while Kartik sleeps. Kartik wakes up watching Naira meditate and then teases her over it. Naira is about to tell him the case when he gets an important work related call. He walks away with the phone and Naira is left wondering when she would get a chance to discuss this with him.

Kartik is signing some official papers when he sees Naira walk down all decked up and he is mesmerized. He signs Naira's name on the man's hand by mistake and the man says he would give Kartik his privacy for now. Naira walks up and drinks some vegetable juice, Kartik teases her. Naira says that she was advised by her doctor for this and is about to tell him  the case when the Singhanias arrive. Dadi welcomes them as Bua Dadi says that she wished Keerti would celebrate her first Ghanghor at her in-laws and not at her own house. Naira intervenes and says it was she who wanted the entire family to be together celebrating the festival.

Dadi takes Keerti aside and asks her if she is fasting for ghangor. Keerti says that she is prepared though not decided yet. Dadi thinks that the family is forcing her to fast. Dadi walks to the Singhanias and asks them not to force Keerti to fast in this state. Bua Dadi is offended as she says that they are not that cruel. Also she says that Keerti is their daughter-in-law and they have every right over her. Kartik pampers Keerti saying he is doing this for his nephew or niece. The guests see Keerti being pampered and wonder if she is unwell. Naira notices Shubham and walks to him asking him if he is fine. Shubham asks Naira to try and call Suahan as she refuses to take his calls.

Naira calls her and makes her speak to Shubham. Naira though is pretty disturbed by this. She then remembers that she does not have to take stress. She suddenly sees Keerti stumbling. She runs to hold her and scolds her for being careless. The guests understand that Keerti is pregnant and wish her this makes Dadi very angry. The guests ask Naira if she is not planning kids now. They also go on to ask her if she is taking some birth control pills. This strikes Dadi as a possibility but she  sides with Naira for the time. Naira take sher medicines and Dadi notices. Dadi asks her what she is having. Kartik too walks up. Kartik says that he would check and find out online as Naira herself will not say. He checks the medicine name online and is taken aback. He though lies to Dadi that she is taking multi vitamins. He looks at Naira questioningly.
