Today's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Naira(Shivangi Joshi) in tears as she misses Kartik(Mohsin Khan). There at Goenka house, Luv Kush wait for Naira's return, but they are dejected to see the family back without Naira.

They get angry and walk away. Swarna says that she will make the kids understand. Manish is furious at this and retorts that she should have tried making Naira and Kartik understand.

Kartik tells his father that the decision to part ways was his and Naira's so no one should be blamed for this and no further discussions are to be made on this.

There Kirti and Naitik with Naksh video chat with Bhabhima and Devyani. Kirti complains that Naksh could have stopped this from, but he instead supported Naira.

Naksh makes his stand clear and says that he wants Naira's happiness only. Naira walks up and tells everyone that the relationship between her and Kartik had reached a point where there was no hope left for them, so there is no point tieing each other down instead of moving ahead in life.

Next morning at breakfast table Kartik tries to get cheerful as he says that he is done with his slogging and depression also now he is back. He says he will handle the office work just like before.

Swarna is elated to see him in an uplifted mood. Kartik thinks that he will not let his sadness effect the family anymore. Naira too tries to cheer everyone up by making happy conversations.

Later though both of them miss each other and find it hard to eat anything. Luv and Kush demand to eat kachoris reminding Kartik of Naira but he controls himself and asks the staff to make kachoris.

Kartik walks off for office and Swarna observes that probably ending the relationship was good for Kartik. She says he seems to be calmer now, Manish who has yet not forgiven Swarna says that this might be the calm before a storm.

Kartik reaches office and an employee speaks to him about the investment Manish has made in Naksh's resort. Kartik decides to speak to Naksh about it. He calls Naksh as the latter is preparing to return to Mumbai. Kartik asks Naksh if he needs a more significant investment as he and Kirti are still family.

Naksh thanks Kartik. Naitik hears this and asks him about this. Naksh then tells Naitik about his financial issues and also that Naitik was never there for him in the past two years.

All Naitik cared for was Naira and her well being. Naira hears this. As Naksh and Kirti prepare to leave Naira and Naitik tell them that even they are relocating to Udaipur now. Naira says she is sorry for being selfish their father and now she wants to return to the family.

Kartik gets a surprise from Mansi his sister. She is back from her hostel. Mansi wants to meet Naira but Kartik says that he and Naira are in for a divorce, this leaves Mansi shocked.
