Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 15th May 2018 Written Update of Full Episode: Kartik Gets a Day Filled With Happy Surprises on His Birthday

Today's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starts with Kartik(Mohsin Khan) plays alongwith his brothers as Naira(Shivangi Joshi) and the others join them. They have fun till it strikes midnight and then they wish Kartik for his birthday. He wants to know what are the other plans for his birthday but no one tells him anything. Naira asks him to wait patiently. Shubham thinks that he will not tell the family anything and neither will he let Naira tell them anything as he cannot see the family worried anymore. Later Shubham has withdrawal symptoms as he tries his best not to not call the drug dealer again. Swarna walks in with Shubham's milk but Shubham will not let her go as he makes her sit down. He sleeps on her lap as Swarna is left overwhelmed by her son's love finally.

Naira watches them and is happy  to see everything good for now. Naira and Kartik spend some intimate time together as they bring in Kartik's birthday. Next morning Swarna prays as she thanks God for giving her son back to her and wishes that they always have both their sons together. Suddenly she hears voices in her head and has a weird fear en-gripping her. She prays that this is just her imagination. Later she hears Shubham speaking to Niara about some secret and asks Shubham what it is. Shubham lies to Swarna and says that he was talking about the surprise for Kartik.

Manish and Akhilesh kidnap a very sulking Kartik away to factory. Kartik keeps cribbing about how they should have handled things today. Later Manish and Akhilesh get Kartik to some other spot. Kartik tries calling Naira to tell her that he might not return to her as he is in a meeting but Naira smartly avoids his call. Kartik is surprised by the family as they wish him with a party. The Singhania's join the celebration. Kartik and Naira go so Kartik can change. Kartik playfully asks Naira if she has started hiding things from him. She says that she will not hide anything and then thinks that she has promised Shubham and for now she has to keep this to herself. Naira later asks Shubham once again to tell the family but Shubham says that he will wait till the party ends. Swarna once again sees the two together and asks Naira if something is the matter, Naira tells her nothing to worry. Kartik asks Manish to bond with Shubham and Manish gels with Shubham and Swarna is overwhelmed.
