Today's episode of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein starts with Ashok reaching to the rescue of Ishita(Divyanka Tripathi) as he stumbles against something and attracts the attention of the goon. The goon says that he cannot let Ashok go now as he has seen his face. Ashok offers the man all the money he wants and Ishita refuses to agree on this. Both of them argue in loud voices purposely. Raman(Karan Patel) and Romi reach the spot and hear their voices. Raman is relieved that Ishita is fine and they slowly walk in the direction of the sound.

The goon gets alerted and asks Raman and Romi to stay away but the two with the help of Ashok overpower the goon and try to snatch away the gun. Raman moves to help Ishita and tries to help her out of the bomb around her. The goon activates the bomb and Ishita asks Raman to cut the wires. Raman is confused but Ishita asks him to cut the wires for the sake of their children. Romi hears the gunshot and sees that Ashok has been shot in the tussle. Romi wants to help but Ashok signals him not to. Ishita too hears the gunshot and Raman tells her it is just a shot in the air.

Raman finally cuts the correct wire and he saves Ishita. The police also arrive and overpower the goon. They then notice that Ashok has been shot. They want to take Ashok to the hospital but he says that he cannot be saved now. Ashok requests them to take his body back at the earliest so that Ishita can get his eye. Ishita is shaken by the request. Ashok dies and Raman says that as per his last wish they should act fast. the family is at home and Bhalla ji informs everyone about what just happened. Santhoshi wants to pray for Ashok and also for Ishita's recovery. Simmi decides to never let Ishita see again and decides to stop the operation.

Santoshi decides to go to Vaishnodevi for Ishita and Simmi is even more angry to see her mother side with Ishita. Simmi walks out but Param stops her and tells a very unconvinced Simmi that they should do nothing as of now as the entire family is with Ishita now. Simmi finally agrees but hopes that Ishita gets her karma and never regains her sight. There at the hospital, the operation is successful but the doctor says they might have to wait a few days to know the success. Few days pass and Raman informs Ishita that they had a good funeral for Ashok and paid respects to him like their own family. Ishita thanks Raman for this. Ishita has her bandage removed and wishes to see Raman. She regains her sight and is overwhelmed as she sees her family around her.
