Today's episode of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein starts with Adi and Romi talking to police as Madhu blames Raman (Karan Patel). Adi stops Madhu and says that Raman can never hurt Ishita(Divyanka Tripathi). Later Simmi and Param who stand talking watch the poliec and Simmi is confident that Ishita will die and Raman will be in jail. The police says that they need Ishita's statement so they can continue the investigate. Simmi laughs at them and thinks that Ishita is sure to die. Suddenly though the doctor walks out and says that Ishita is now conscious. Simmi is shocked. She knows Ishita with give her statement against her and then she will be caught. Param asks Simmi to leave the town and he would stay back and keep a watch.(Also Read: Simmi Shoots Ishita, Raman Blames Himself)

Shagun asks the family to leave and take rest while she stays at the hospital to wait for Ishita to be able to give a statement. The family reaches back home and Simmi slowly sneaks away. Santoshi goes to check on Raman and finds him gone. She panics and so does the family. The entire family starts searching around for him. Adi calls Shagun to check if Raman has reached the hospital but Shagun says that he has not. Later we see that aman has reached Mani's house and he meets Mani there. He convinces Mani to send him to the asylum as he has become increasingly dangerous for his family. Mani asks Raman to rest as he realises that Raman has gone from bad to worse.

The family searches around for Raman and thinks that probably he has gone to the station to confess his crime. Later at the hospital Adi and Romi convince everyone to keep it to themselves that Raman is missing as if the police come to know about it then they might suspect Raman. Shagun worries about what they would say to Ishita when she comes back to senses. Ishita wakes up and the family rushes in to meet her and also the police. Ishita asks for Raman and later as the police ask her to identify the gun she asks them to switch on the lights. She asks them why it is so dark and why she canot see. The family is shocked and the  doctor asks her to slowly close her eyes again and reopen. Ishita again says that she is able to see nothing. Param who stands around listening is elated by the news and waits so that the doctor can check.

The family waits outside as the doctor does some tests on Ishita. The family decides to keep it to themselves that Raman is missing. Adi breaks down and Shagun asks him to be strong and that he needs to take care of the family and Ishita. The doctor walks out and conforms that Ishita has indeed lost her sight. He also says that they can still be hopeful as after she recovers they can conduct some more tests to see if this damage can be undone. Param is elated and he informs Simmi about this. Simmi is satisfied that she could punish Ishita finally in way above death itself. She talks to her daughter's picture and says that she make Ishita's life a living hell for killing her daughter.

Ishita cries and asks the doctor to recheck as she refuses to accept that she has lost her sight. Ishita then asks for Raman and she wants to know if the police has taken Raman. Adi assures her that Raman is fine and he would soon be here also he says that police could recover no fingerprints from the gun found on the site. Ishita then makes a shocking revelation as she says that Raman did not shoot her. She says that Raman's gun had no bullets at all as she herself had removed the bullets and kept it safe in the locker at home. She tells the police that Raman himself did not realise that his gun had no bullets in it.
