Today's episode of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein starts with a worried Ishita(Divyanka Tripathi) trying to figure out the mystery of the weird things in her tiffin. She shouts for her new secretary who runs in and says she would check at the reception for her tiffin. Ishita suddenly chances to see Sonakshi Gupta's name written on the tiffin box. She panics and asks the secretary to get the dabbawala as she wants to meet him. Raman(Karan Patel) is interrupted between his meeting by Ruhi who asks him to have lunch and forces him to stop work. Ruhi says these are orders from Ishita and that calms Raman. Raman reads a letter from Ishita where she has asked him to calmly have food and not scream at any one. Raman is happy and he wants to speak to Ishita. He calls Ishita who does not take her call and this makes him call the reception.

Raman gets to know that Ishita has gone to meet a dabbawala and she was pretty worried. Raman wonders what the new issue is. Aliya is lost in thoughts as Mihika notices this. Mihika makes her sit and talks to her. Mihika comes to know that Adi was with Roshni the entire time and he hardly spent any time with her. Mihika suggests that Aliya should join office back as that is the Aliya whom Adi had once liked and admired. She says it becomes very important for a woman to work for her own good and betterment. Aliya agrees to speak to Romi and get his help on this. Ishita arrives at the house and the dabbawala leaves after pointing out the house to her.

Ishita reaches the door with no nameplate. The secretary is worried and coaxes Ishita to leave but Ishita will not. Ishita keeps knocking and suddenly the door opens to an old woman who is very angry at her. Ishita takes Sonakshi's name and the woman suddenly pulls Ishita in and closes the door at the secretary. Raman reaches Ishita's office and asks them to give him the secretary's number who has accompanied Ishita. He does not get it and get a bit worked up. Adi is outside the house still when he realises that he has missed taking a file. He begins to return when he sees Roshni and feels like she is throwing water at him. He playfully asks her to stop and then realises it is Aliya who is watering plants from the terrace. He screams at Aliya. Aliya tries explaining but Adi will not listen. Aliya in the rage of the moment says that she too is joining office from the next day. Adi laughs it off and mocks her at being his wife and only that. Raman walks in hearing this.

Raman is furious at Adi for disrespecting Aliya and asks him how he who respects his Ishima more than his father could think like that. He asks Aliya to join office from the next day and also asks Adi to handle the company on his own that day. Aliya offers help which Adi refuses. Simmi sneaks into Mihika's room and manages to find the fallen picture which is of Ishita but has been badly spoiled by someone.  Ishita is dragged into the house by the woman and she asks Ishita how she knows her daughter. Ishita shows her the tiffin to which the woman gets more aggressive and asks her if she saw or touched anything inside. The secretary runs in with another girl and manages to save Ishita. The woman is actually this other girl's mother and the woman is crazy. This other girl is also Sonakshi Gupta. Ishita is about to leave when she suddenly notices the garlanded picture of the driver who took her to the airport and is shocked.
