Today's episode of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein starts with Adi and Roshni sitting in a car talking in the middle of the night as Adi complains about Aliya. Adi says that Aliya is purposely trying to show him down in front of the entire family and that is the reason she joined office too. Roshni tells him that he should believe in himself and not care about what anybody else thinks of him. Adi gets hope by her motivational words and thanks her. At the Bhalla house, everyone is sitting for dinner as Santoshi asks Aliya where Adi is. Aliya says that he is too busy with his presentation these days and he is in office. Santoshi teases Aliya asking her if she is sure about this and Raman (Karan Patel) offers to call and confirm. Aliya stops him saying she trusts Adi with her love as she knows that even if they have their tiffs, Adi still loves her. Raman is impressed by this and cites his relationship with Ishita(Divyanka Tripathi) as an example saying even their relationship is founded on trust.

Raman looks at Ishita for reconfirmation but finds her lost in thought. Raman calls out to her, and she suddenly wakes from her reverie. Ishita later thinks how she can only think about Arushi and her accusation these days. Adi hugs Roshni thanking her, and that is when a police officer interrupts them. The police ask them to step out as the area is shady. They meet the inspector who asks them why they are out in such a place at such a time. Adi lies that Roshni is his wife and that they were out for a long drive and had a discussion. The inspector does not believe and asks them to prove that they are indeed married. Adi gets flustered and says that he cannot be expected to be carrying the certificate around. Roshni though produces the picture of their wedding, and the inspector believes them. He warns them and lets them go.

Later Adi asks Roshni why she saved this picture when he thought that this incident was the worst memory of hers. Roshni says that even she wonders why she kept this. Ishita cannot sleep thinking about Arushi and wonders how she can get to the truth. Ishita believes that Arushi is not lying, but she also trusts Raman completely. Raman meets Shravan and asks him if he got the laptop. Shravan says that he has made the payment already and Raman believes that. Romi tries to get to the root of the credit card forgery, and Mani offers help as he suggests an inspector who is also his friend. Aliya welcomes the inspector home, and he is the same one that had caught Adi. Ishita tries to talk to Arushi in vain as Arushi now believes that Ishita is trying to save her husband. Ishita finds the letter in which there is Raman's signatures and takes it along. In the office, she suddenly notices another letter of the same recruitment, but now she sees something one has Raman Bhalla and Sons while the one with Arushi has Raman Bhalla and Company. She checks the store and finds many like that. The inspector sees Adi there and recognises him. Later he questions a flustered Adi. Adi explains that Roshni was his friend and he just lied to get away.
