It would be produced by her good friend and the czarina of Indian television, Ekta Kapoor, and will start streaming on her app, ALT Balaji. As per a report in PINKVILLA, another big name in television, Rajeev Khandelwal, has been roped in as the male lead for the series. The show would be reportedly called Chef (no, it won't be a remake of the Saif Ali Khan movie) and would reportedly be a mature love story between two chefs. Earlier in August, Ekta Kapoor had tweeted about the show, as she said. "Ok since ppl got it! An official statement! A love story between two chefs! That shared pain betrayal a past and the love for FOOD!most love stories end in a kitchen this started in one."

If the news is true, this would be the first time Divyanka and Rajeev would be working together. Rajeev was hosting a chat show Juzz Baat, that had Divyanka was a guest.
