While Vishal had been mum over the news leak of their break-up, finally, opens up about his relationship with Madhurima. The actor, in a statement to Bombay Times, "We dated for almost a year, but we realised that the relationship has no future and decided to call it quits. There are all kinds of people in this world and everyone has a different personality. Whatever happened was unfortunate, but it is better to part when you don’t see a future together. I am a very honest person and I learnt a lot in the process. You are not always destined to marry the person you love."
Vishal further added, "I am single right now and I am focussing only on work." Speaking of what kind of girl is looking for, the actor told the daily, "I am a little mad and funny, so I want a girl who is equally mad and interesting. That will help us strike a better understanding."
Vishal, who was last seen as Tevar in Kulfi Kumar Bajewala, can’t get over the fact that his track on the show is over and that he has to now focus on newer things. However, talking about his future plans, the actor told the daily, "I am happy that I have come this far. I am not here to buy two flats and rest it out. I want to work for many years and grow old in the industry, after playing different characters. TV actors might talk about facing endless struggles and auditions to get work, but I feel that at the end of the day, it is all about one's burning desire to become an actor. I have improved my craft with every show and therefore, I want to keep my passion for the craft alive."
